استدعت وزارة الخارجية والمغتربين القائم بالأعمال الإيراني في لبنان، توفيق صمدي خوشخو، إذ التقى الأمين العام للوزارة السفير عبد الستار عيسى، الذي أبلغه قرار الدولة اللبنانية سحب الموافقة على اعتماد #السفير_الإيراني المعيّن محمد رضا شيباني، وإعلانه شخصاً غير مرغوب فيه، مع مطالبته بمغادرة الأراضي اللبنانية في موعد أقصاه الأحد 29 آذار 2026.
وفي السياق نفسه، استدعت وزارة الخارجية سفير لبنان في إيران، أحمد سويدان، للتشاور، على خلفية ما اعتبرته الدولة اللبنانية انتهاكاً من طهران للأعراف الدبلوماسية وأصول التعامل المعتمدة بين البلدين.

The Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants summoned Iran’s chargé d’affaires in Lebanon, Tawfiq Samadi Khoshkhou, where Secretary-General Ambassador Abdel Sattar Issa conveyed the Lebanese government’s decision to withdraw its approval of the appointed Iranian ambassador, Mohammad Reza Sheibani, declaring him persona non grata and requesting that he leave Lebanese territory no later than Sunday, March 29, 2026.
In the same context, the Ministry also summoned Lebanon’s ambassador to Iran, Ahmad Sweidan, for consultations, citing what it described as a violation by Tehran of established diplomatic norms and protocols between the two countries.
